Benylin Mucus & Phlegm Extra Strength Plus Cold Relief 180mL

Fast, effective relief of: mucus & phlegm, chest congestion, sore throat pain, plus dry cough, nasal congestion and aches & pains.

Dosage: Adults (12 years and over): 2 tbsp. (30mL) every 6 hours. Maximum 8tbsp. (120mL)/day. Shake well before using. Not recommended for children under 12 years. 

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. This package contains enough medicine to seriously harm a child. Use only on the advice of a doctor.Do not take more than the recommended dose. Overdose may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage. Consult a doctor before use if you are on other medication including natural health products, prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs or if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema; or have difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI. Stop use and talk to your doctor if: you develop allergic wheezing or itching, your symptoms last for more than 5 days, fever lasts more than 3 days or sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days – very rarely, serious skin reactions with acetaminophen have been reported. Symptoms may include: skin reddening, blisters, rash. If a skin reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away. Stop use and talk to a doctor if nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness or new symptoms occur, or symptoms worsen, or are accompanied by a high fever, persistent headache or you develop wheezing, rash or itching, or the product of thick yellow/green phlegm. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Active Ingredients: Each 15mL or 1 tablespoonful contains: 
Cough Suppressant: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15mg (Controls dry cough).
Decongestant: Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride 100mg (Relieves stuffy nose and nasal congestion).
Expectorant: Guaifenesin 100mg. Relieves chest congestion).
Analgesic: Acetaminophen 500mg (Relieves pain, fever, headache, and sore throat pain).

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, D&C red no. 33, flavours, glycerin, menthol, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, sorbitol, water.
