\nCan I take these tablets if I\u2019m taking other medication?
\nIf you\u2019re taking any other medication, including herbal remedies or medicines obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Echinaforce tablets. Do not take these tablets if you are already taking:
\nImmunosuppressant medications, e.g. ciclosporin, methotrexate
\nTreatment to reduce the response of your immune system, e.g. chemotherapy, radiotherapy

\nHow to take these tablets
\nTake 2 Echinaforce tablets 2 \u2013 3 times a day. Swallow tablets whole with a sip of water. For best results, start taking at the first signs of a cold. Do not take for more than 10 days at a time.

\nWhen should this product not be used?
\nEchinaforce tablets are not suitable for use in children under the age of 12. Do not take these tablets if you are allergic to echinacea, other plants in the daisy family, or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not take this product if you have:
\nAn intolerance to lactose
\nA tendency to allergies such as hives, eczema, or asthma
\nTuberculosis (TB)
\nA connective tissue disease disorder called Sarcoidosis
\nAn autoimmune disease, e.g. collagenoses or multiple sclerosis
\nHIV, AIDS, or any other condition which affects your immune system
\nA disorder which affects your white blood cells, e.g. agranulocytosis, leukaemia
\nHad an organ or bone marrow transplant

\nDo Echinaforce tablets have any side effects?
\nLike all medications, Echinaforce tablets can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. If you experience any of the following side effects you may be experiencing a serious allergic reaction and should seek medical assistance immediately:
\nSkin rash
\nRed, itchy skin, or hives
\nSwelling of the skin or face
\nBlisters on the skin or mucous membranes, e.g. inside of nose and mouth
\nDifficulty breathing
\nAsthma or anaphylactic shock
\nOther side effects you may experience include:
\nInflammation of the brain and spinal cord
\nPainful lumps on the shins
\nLow blood platelet count
\nEvans syndrome, which causes the destruction of blood cells by antibodies
\nSjogren syndrome, causing dryness in the mouth and eyes with renal tubular disfunction

\nStore in a cool, dry place which is below 25 degrees C. Do not use this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
