Benylin Cough & Chest Congestion Extra Strength For People With Diabetes 100mL

Fast relief of: cough, chest congestion, nasal and sinus congestion and sore throat pain.

Dosage: Adults (12 years and over): 2 tsp. (10mL) every 6 hours. Maximum 8tsp. (40mL)/day. Shake well before using. Not recommended for children under 12 years. 

Caution: Do not use with other products containing any of these ingredients or other cough/cold medications. Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not take more than the recommended dosage. Ask a doctor before use if you are on other medication including natural health products, prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs or if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema; have a cough with excessive phlegm; or have difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. Stop use and talk to your doctor if: new symptoms appear, your symptoms worsen, last for more than 7 days, sore throat pain lasts more than 2 days, or are accompanied by a high fever, persistent headache or you develop wheezing, rash or itching, or the product of thick yellow/green phlegm.

Store between 15°C and 30°C.

Active Ingredients: Each 5mL or 1 teaspoonful contains: 
Cough Suppressant: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15mg (Controls dry cough).
Decongestant, Anaesthetic/Analgesic: Menthol 15mg (Fast-acting relief of nasal and sinus congestion and sore throat pain).
Expectorant: Guaifenesin 200mg. (Relieves chest congestion).

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, citric acid, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C red no. 40, flavours, glycerin, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, water, xanthan gum.

Sugar-free; sorbitol-free; decongestant suitable for diabetes.
