What is hypoglycaemia?
Hypoglycaemia (also known as a ‘hypo) is when the level of glucose in your blood falls abnormally low. Our body needs sugar for energy to carry out different functions. When our glucose levels are too low, our body doesn’t have enough energy to fulfill different activities. Hypoglycaemia is commonly associated with diabetes and tends to occur if someone with diabetes takes too much insulin, misses a meal or takes part in exercise that is too strenuous. It can sometimes be possible for those who do not have diabetes to experience a hypo, through malnutrition, binge-drinking or certain conditions. Symptoms of hypoglycaemia can differ from person to person, but typical signs include:

How to use this product
Take one tube to manage a hypoglycaemic attack. Twist the cap off the tube. Squeeze the contents into the mouth and gently massage into the cheek or squeeze contents into the mouth and swallow. Each tube is single-use and should be discarded after the required amount has been administered. 
Glucogel dose
The recommended dose for a hypoglycaemic attack is between 10 and 20g of carbohydrate (glucose). Each tube contains 10g glucose.

Do NOT use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (see ingredients tab for full list). This product is not recommended for children under 5 years of age. This product is for oral use only and is NOT to be given to people who are unconscious, as this may present a choking hazard. Do NOT use this product:

Do NOT exceed the recommended dosage. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet or healthy lifestyle. Consuming products with a high fat content, such as chocolate, will counteract the effect or efficiency of the glucose.
