Use: Prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting and dizziness due to motion sickness.
Directions: Children under 2 years: as directed by a physician. Children 2-6 years: take 1 teaspoon (5mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 5 teaspoons (25mL) in 24 hours. Children 6 to 12 years: take 2 teaspoons (10mL) every 6 to 8 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 10 teaspoons (50mL) in 24 hours. Take the first dose at least 1/2 hour and preferably 1 to 2 hours before departure.
Medicinal Ingredient: (in each 5mL teaspoon): 15mg Dimenhydrinate USP.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients (alphabetically): Citric acid, flavour, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, sucrose, water.
Warnings: Do not exceed recommended dosage. Prolonged use should be only on the advice of a physician. Ask a physician if you have glaucoma, chronic lung disease, difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland. Ask a physician or a pharmacist before use if you take antihistamines, tranquilizers or any other sedating drugs. When using this product avoid driving a motor vehicle or performing tasks requiring mental alertness. May cause drowsiness. May cause excitability, especially in children. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health care practitioner before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or a health care professional immediately.
