Vitamin K2 also serves to activate osteocalcin, the critical compound within osteoblasts (bone building cells) which locks down calcium from the bloodstream to bone mass.
Vitamin D3 enhances calcium and phosphorus absorption into bones for a healthy skeletal system. It also stimulates the synthesis of osteocalcin, the critical cofactor that drives the assimilation of calcium into bones.
