NyQuil Cold & Flu Nighttime Relief Liquid Soothing Cherry Flavour

Antihistamine; Cough Suppressant; Pain Reliever; Fever Reducer.

Directions for use: Adults (12 years and over): 2 tbsp (30mL) at bedtime. If your cold keeps you confined to bed or at home you can take every 6 hours; maximum 4 doses per day. Children under 12 years: Do not use.

Caution: Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Maximum daily dose is 4 doses (2600mg) in 24 hours. Severe or possibly fatal liver damage may occur if you take: more than the recommended dose in 24 hours; with other drugs containing acetaminophen; while drinking 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day. Symptoms of liver damage may include: yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, sweating, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, unusual tiredness, loss of appetite. Allergy alert: acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions. Symptoms may include: skin reddening, blisters, rash. If any of the above noted symptoms occur, stop use and seek medical help right away. Do not use with other drugs containing acetaminophen – if you are not sure whether a drug contain acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist; if you are allergic to acetaminophen or any other ingredient in this product; with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinson’s disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. Ask a doctor before use if you have: liver or kidney disease, asthma, glaucoma, chronic lung disease or shortness of breath, excessive phlegm (mucus), persistent or chronic cough, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using if you are: taking Warfarin-containing blood thinning drugs; taking sedatives or tranquilizers; pregnant or breastfeeding. When using this product: drowsiness may occur.  Do not drive or engage in activities containing alertness; avoid alcoholic drinks; excitability may occur, especially in children. Stop use and  ask a doctor if : symptoms last more than 5 days, worsen or are accompanied by fever;  fever lasts for more than 3 days; symptoms are  accompanied by the production of thick yellow/green phlegm. If elderly, consult a doctor before using this product. Use only as directed by a physician. In case of overdose: get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: acesulfame potassium, alcohol, citric acid, FD&C Blue no. 1, FD&C Red no. 40, flavour, high fructose corn syrup, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate.
