Indications: Source of probiotics. Helps support gastrointestinal health. Could promote a favourable gut flora.
Dosage: Adults: 3 capsules daily with meals or as directed by a physician. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics. Children 6 years and older: 1 capsule daily with meals or as directed by a physician. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics.
Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains:
6 billion active cells of the following specially cultured strains of probiotics:
Lactobacillus rhamnosus – 50% – 3 billion cfu
Lactobacillus casei – 30% – 1.8 billion cfu
Lactobacillus acidophilus – 10% – 0.6 billion cfu
Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum – 10% – 0.6 billion cfu
Non-Medicinal Ingredients (in descending order): potato starch, calcium gluconate, inulin, vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum, purified water), magnesium stearate, fructooligosaccharides, silica, ascorbic acid, skim milk, trypticase-soy broth, sucrose.
Caution: Keep out of the reach of children. Consult a physician prior to use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting or bloody diarrhea. Discontinue use and consult a physician if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
