Option+ Oral Anesthetic Gel 9.5g

Use: Helps relieve toothache pain.

Directions: Cut open tip of tube on score mark. Adults and children 2 years and older: apply a small amount to the cavity and around gum surrounding the teeth up to 4 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Contact a dentist to arrange an appointment; medication is a temporary measure only. Use by children under 12 years requires adult supervision. Not for use in children under 2 years of age. Do not eat for one hour following use. Do not chew gum or food while numbness persists.

Medicinal Ingredient: Benzocaine 20% w/w

Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. Use smallest effective amount. Avoid contact with eyes. If this occurs, immediately flush thoroughly with water. If condition worsens or symptoms do not improve within 7 days, if irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens, or swelling, rash of fever develops, consult your healthcare practitioner promptly. Do not use if allergic to benzocaine. For occasional use only. Do not use on open wounds. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing, and/or pale, gray or blue coloured skin as these may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use. Hypersensitivity/allergy is know to occur. In such case, discontinue use. In case of accidental overdose contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
