How does Rennie work?
Rennie tablets contain calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, two antacids that rapidly neutralise excess stomach acid at its source. This quick relief stops heartburn’s burning sensation and soothes indigestion. The tablets also include simeticone, which helps break down trapped gas and reduces bloating.
Directions
For adults and children over 12 years of age, two tablets should be sucked or chewed, preferably one hour after a meal and before bedtime. Do not take more than 10 tablets in one day.
Warnings
Do not take Rennie’s if you are allergic to calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, simeticone or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not take these tablets if you have severe kidney disease, high calcium in the urine, high calcium or low phosphate levels in the blood or you have kidney stones
Tell your prescriber if you are taking any other medicines
These tablets are unsuitable for children under the age of 12
Avoid taking these tablets alongside large quantities of dairy products
