What are Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Tablets?
Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Tablets contain a wide selection of vitamins and minerals that are essential if you’re trying for a baby, such as: vitamin D, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, biotin, iron, zinc and selenium. These tablets contain the exact level of folic acid recommended by the Department of Health which contributes to your baby’s development during pregnancy.

How to use this product
Always take Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Tablets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Take one tablet per day with a glass of water, preferably with food.

Why should you take folic acid if you’re pregnant or trying for a baby?
If you’re pregnant or trying to conceive, the NHS recommends that you should take a 400 microgram folic acid supplement every day until you’re 12 weeks pregnant. This is because folic acid helps to form the neural tube and low levels of the vitamin could lead to major birth defects of your baby’s brain.

It is best to start taking folic acid before you’re pregnant, as birth defects can occur within the first 3-4 weeks of pregnancy, so make sure you’re getting your daily dose whilst trying to
conceive.

What are good sources of folic acid?
Folic acid is the man-made form of the B vitamin folate, sometimes referred to as vitamin B9 or folacin. Folate is found in small amounts in lots of foods including broccoli, brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans and fortified breakfast cereals. If you’re pregnant or trying to conceive, you should take a 400 microgram folic acid supplement every day until you’re 12 weeks pregnant.

What vitamins & minerals are included in Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Tablets?
The vitamins and minerals in Seven Seas Trying For A Baby Tablets have been carefully selected to regulate hormonal activity and support normal fertility and reproduction. Each tablet contains vitamin D, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folic acid, biotin, iron, zinc and selenium.
