What is Care Witch Hazel?
Care Witch Hazel is a soothing solution which helps to ease irritated skin. It’s the perfect addition to a first aid kit, soothing bruises and other minor irritation with ease. It can also be used to cleanse and tone the skin and can be used as a makeup remover, being particularly suitable for oily skin.
 
Why would I need to use this product?
Care Witch Hazel can be used to soothe minor skin complaints and for first aid when the skin hasn’t been broken. You can use this solution for:
Bruises
Sprains
Minor skin irritation
Rough skin
Sore skin
Minor burns
Minor scalds
Insect bites
 
How will witch hazel help to soothe irritated skin?
Witch hazel is an astringent, which means it helps to soothe irritated skin by making the skin contract. This helps to reduce minor bleeding or discharge while cooling and soothing the area, easing minor skin complaints and drying oily skin.
 
Can I use this product if I’m taking other medication?
If you’re taking other medication, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product. At the moment, there are no significant reasons why you would not be able to use this product with other medication, but a medical professional can help you to be sure that this is safe.
 
Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not have any problems when using this product. However, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist when using any medication at this time.
 
How to use Care Witch Hazel
Apply a little Care Witch Hazel to a piece of clean lint or cotton wool. Use this to gently apply the solution to the area of skin you wish to treat.
 
When should this product not be used?
Do not use Care Witch Hazel if you are allergic to distilled witch hazel, or hamamelis water. For use on the skin only, keep out of contact with eyes and other sensitive areas. Do not apply to broken or infected skin. Do not swallow.
 
Does this product have any side effects?
Like all medications, Care Witch Hazel can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. This can include symptoms of allergic reaction. If you experience any side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away. How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place. Store in original packaging, do not use if expiry date printed on packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
